What is ceramic restoration?
Ceramic restoration is a process where a porcelain puzzle piece is cemented into your tooth. This means that instead of unsightly silver or gold caps and fillings, you can have white, natural looking tooth.
The CEREC 3D provides precise-fitting porcelain restorations that are strong, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. More importantly CEREC 3D does all of this in our Midlothia, VA dental office. Learn more about CEREC here.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
Digital photos are a vital part of the decision making process by providing a virtual look at the patient's options and results. Once digital photos are taken these images are displayed via computer. In the relaxed setting of the bar area (see office tour), Dr. Mason, with the help of the digital photos, will consult with the patient about their dental needs and possible solutions.

Halitosis Treatment
The Halimeter is a diagnostic tool to verify "oral malodor" or "halitosis". The machine measures the amount of sulfur content in a patient's mouth or nose.
Four readings are taken with a straw attached to the machine.... one reading from the posterior of the mouth , one from the anterior of the mouth , one from the right nostril and one from the left nostril. From these four readings the numbers are looked at to see if they are above the average of the calibrated machine.
It is painless and takes only a few minutes to take the readings. Click here to learn more about halitosis treatment.
